By MJ ONeill

For the second time in three years, Weber Shandwick has won the highly coveted title of Asia Pacific PR Consultancy of the Year at the Campaign Asia PR Awards Asia, held last night in Hong Kong.

The firm was also named Greater China PR Consultancy of the Year – securing a total of eight awards at this year’s event.

Client campaigns throughout Asia Pacific were honoured with gold awards in Greater China PR Campaign of the Year, Sports and Best Use of VR/AR; and bronze awards in Integrated Marketing, Best Use of Social Media and Internal Communications.

“I am extraordinarily proud,” said Baxter Jolly, CEO, Asia Pacific. “Of our people, our clients and our entire Asia Pacific community. These awards reinforce the success of our business model to deliver highly creative campaigns, backed by data, to solve some of the most challenging issues today. Recognition like this, across so many different categories and markets, is a testament not just to the quality of the work we have delivered but to the profound trust our clients have placed in us across the region.”

“To once again be named Asia Pacific Consultancy of the Year is an honour,” Jolly concluded. “A true reflection of the outstanding and talented colleagues who come to work each day with a relentless curiosity and ambition to solve for their clients.”
